That is hands down the best plug in I've ever seen for a CAD program. I think you just saved me $5000!
This plugin for SU adds considerable power for free in a somewhat limited version and a reasonable price for the full version. It gives you parametric control of components' and models' dimensions very like a full blown parametric solids or surface modeller. It makes it a doddle to re-size things and impose constraints on what gets changed, unchanged etc.

Definitely a Must Have for SU users.

Yeah wow that's one of the COOLEST plugins for SU yet, how cool for editing everything on the fly without ever touching the SU toolset!!!! An absolute brainer!!!!
When I first encountered this plugin, I completely misunderstood what it does. The simplicity of the user interface hides some pretty complex mathematics under the hood.
trying it now, have seen it before but ignored it because of the release of sketchup seven and the dynamic components, but now i see that this a much better alternative for those of us who don't wish to or can't fork out the big bucks to by sketchup pro
I've been waiting for this since the first time I used SketchUp! Thank you!
Just started using it. DD solves the major reason I didn't use SketchUp. I've been in the MCAD industry for twenty years and have used Pro/E to Solidworks and many others. So, parametric feature based modeling is what I know.
Really usefull, I sketch models and then I can scale them with accuracy.
