I just set up DD for Sketchup free version 1.1 (build 1531) on my iMac (OSX 4.11, Intel Core Duo) and the option dialog is missing the distance/length/auto selectors for the geometric entities. Should I be concerned?

We do not have this option in version 1.1, please visit our help page to see how Driving Dimensions Options dialog should look like.

Now automatic selection of angle/distance is always used, but you can easily adjust the type when you enter or edit the value:
