[EDIT - topic title should be 'Model being accessed at wrong TIME' .. not 'tim' .. can't figure out how to edit the title biggrin.gif ]

Hi

i'm trying out driving dimensions on SU 7.1 & osx 10.5.8

i've encountered a bug which i've experienced with another ruby plugin. If i open a new su document and do absolutely nothing to it then try to close the window, i will be asked 'do you want to save the changes made....?" I should be able to simply close the window without the secondary dialog showing up. (and, SU will often crash upon selecting 'don't save' while the DD ruby is installed)

[in case you aren't aware of this in os x, the following screenshots show what happens to the close buttons in a document (in apps other than SU as well)]

the first one shows an unedited document or one that has been saved without any further editing

the red button changes to this once the document has any changes made to it.. when it's in this state, you will be asked wether or not to save if you try to close the window.

a plugin writer that frequents the sketchucation forums wrote a script that caused the same problem but he was able to easily fix it. i'm wondering if you can do the same.
for reference, a link to the previous discussion i had about this:

Hi Jeff,

Sorry for late answer.

We analyzed the problem and confirm that it exists both on Win and Mac platforms. On Win the problem can be fixed relatively easily,
on the Mac it requires additional efforts. We'll fix it in the next DD release. Thank you for providing the detailed description of the bug.

Hello Jeff,

The bug you reported has been fixed on Mac, thank you!
Please send me a message if you are interested in testing the new version before its official announcement.
We have also solved the problem with installation on 10.6 and finally supported PPC.
