Full Version: Values smaller than one (1)

There seems to be a problem entering values below 1 - or to be more precise: starting with a zero and a decimal point. Entering of such values partly give error messages, partly are interpreted as zero.

For information: I am running a Norwegian installation of Windows, where the decimal point is the "," - as opposed to the "." used as decimal point in most other countries. But DrivingDimension works perfectly as long as the digit in front of the decimal point is not a zero.

To be clear:
0,5 gives error message or is interpreted as zero, depending on the measure used.
1,5 gives correct result

The fun of the situation is that Russian standard is also "," but we could not notice this bug since many people here prefer either to install English version of Windows or to modify the delimiter settings manually - just to avoid troubles with software that has a hardcoded "." delimiter smile.gif

OK, thank you for that confirmation.

In the mean time, it is easy to use the following workaround:

If for instance the current setting is "meters", and one wants to enter for example 0.5 (meters), just write "50 cm" in the dialogue box - SketchUp converts automatically.
