DD ver1.4 - SU ver7pro

i was trying to make a line that would keep its center point. i used two lines and fixed the vertex connecting the two. i also had to add a short line at each end so i could attach my dimension to it because i couldn't dimension between vertex's. when i increase the dimension one of the lines takes off in the blue direction. try it out.

i think these problems could be solved by adding the ability to fix a center point, and being able to dimension between two vertex's. wink.gif

A distance dimension between two vertices was introduced with Driving Dimensions v.0.2 (please take a look at the Release Status page).

A dimension between two connected edges (distance or angle) could help you in that case - at least the lines will be parallel, but they won't have equal lengths.

We plan to support midpoints in one of future versions, thank you for the suggestion!
