I can't figur out if it is my fault or dd default.
Lets say I have a Wall, interupted with columns. To change a lenght part of the wall I use dd.
How can I tell dd which wall reacts to my changes. Others, if I have a fixed length for the outer dimensions and I changed just a part of the fixed lenght, another part of the lenght must react. Is there any control?. Lets say I select a face or an edge before, then use dd to give the lenght at another part of my wall, the selected face/edge depends on this changes.
Sorry for the complicated explanations....

Another example is, if you want to change a simple window in its hight, how does dd know which direction is meant ( bottom or up ) In this case I can set a second dimension. The only option?

But for more complex scenes It was nice to select the part which should react to the changes ( left or right side of the wall).

Hopefully someone understand wink.gif

Burkhard,

Did you try our fixation tool?

For example, if you want the window to be changed in its bottom direction, just fix its upper edge. You can add and remove fixation to your model at any time.
